It has been the most amazing past two weeks. I've been working, which is a news that have shocked many of my friends. (i never knew i have such a good reputation as a person who don't work) No, i'm not going to announce that i am currently working on facebook, let's just see how many more people get shocked. xD
Work have been filing, stapling, printing, and playing office politics. I was surprised that i get so much of politics though i am just a 1 month temp staff. Of course, those full timers will not be so free to play politics with me, i'm playing it every work day with the friend who asked me to work with her. Thank you pal, now i know what a bitch you are. It's the first time i'm working in an office anyway, so fine, i shall try my hand in office politics. From the flexible timings, hungers and constant standing that i had experienced from my first job, i am now working standard office hours, bloated from snacks, and constantly seated in the office chair. I supposed this last part-time job managed to wrap up my part-time job learning nicely, i've tried both drastic ends.
I think the down side about my current holiday is that i am not really aware that it is a holiday. I've been studying hard for french 3 days after the end of my papers, then the intensive job hunt during the period when i was studying landed me in a job that starts right after my vacation French. I don't remember being so hardworking ever. Plus, i even worked overtime one my first day of work. Thinking about that, hard to imagine that it was actually me who did that and is still trudging through the job. I miss watching running man right on the day that it airs and being able to slack at home doing nothing and knowing that i deserve that, and should be doing that because it's the hols!
My results came out yesterday morning, got alerted at 6 plus in the morning(i was already awake and preparing to go for work) by my friend who actually took the trouble to go online to discover it. Her service is even faster than the school's 8 o'clock's sms results service! I waited for the sms, which i secretly seen in my office so that i wouldn't have to face my friend's endless chatter and remarks of my results. Straight Bs. I've got 2 B+. It's the first time since entering poly that i actually didn't get a C. But no A caused me to have a mini heart attack in the office because that ruins the GPA, and i have to keep guessing my GPA for the entire day as i couldn't go online to check it. I've got Bs for my intermediate 201 and 202 French as well. B isn't bad, but it isn't that great either. I've been hoping and hoping to get a A for my last French module which i took during this hols. Didn't work out though, so in all 6 of the French modules, my highest is still just B. Considering that the previous vacation module ended up in a C, i should be happier about the B, just that i can't help feeling disappointed about it.
I think the other special thing about this holidays is that it actually resulted in this long post which i don't usually do due to short attention span. Amazing.
