It's the second day of module balloting. I am just sitting at home, wondering what i've just got myself into. We can make as many amendments as we like before the closing tomorrow, just that they only provide the things we are going to study under the module description. Happy reading, close my eyes and pick. Not like I will be able to make an informed decision with the module description provided. Everything look great at when described. The way they assure you of the great culture, help, experience, places etc etc that you are going to get if you pick that. But before i got blown away with all the amazingness, thankfully i remembered the essentials that they missed out. The marking format. Some modules just have the craziest scoring methods cooked up by the evil lecturers. They give you the lowest percentage on hell projects they throw at you, expecting us to put in lots of effort for the mind blowing effect. They then give you a little higher than average percentage for things like class participation. They may scatter the percentage all over the place, making tutorials as important as testS, resulting in high anxiety level, extreme heavy work load, and near impossible to do well for everything and get a good grade in other words. Seriously, i should have just hang out during the balloting period.
