Oh what a glorious day it is to celebrate someone's birthday!! (boring intensive studying days calls for drastic measures to keep the brain alive) It's my aunt's birthday to be exact. I have no idea how old she is. No one ever keep tracks, not that she minds anyway. My dad have specially bought a wallet for us to give to my aunt as a gift. Why wallets, u may be wondering. Because isn't like a bottle of cream that finishes after frequent use. And what is the problem with things finishing anyway? Well, that is because of last year's incidents where my aunt thought the cream was something we got as a freebie, and after we convinced her it isn't, she thought we bought her cheap stuff, complained like mad, and then asked us to buy her another bottle when it finishes. But anyway, enough of the nasty things, we shall be giving her a wallet this year. Hope with all my heart she wll like it this time, and it shall be a glorious day.

I want to earn myself a rest day tomorrow!!!!
Yes, it is possible. My very nice and flexible tutor have told us that if we can manage to complete and send him our observations and analysis by today, tomorrow we shall not be required to go.
Brilliant =D

The difference between an interview and a survey, is that an interview requires more work, time, and randomness to approach a stranger in desperation for even more details. Like seriously....
So you can imagine my absolute dismay when i was told to do an interview with about 10 to 20 people, in addition to the survey i just did. Just a 4 questions interview, i've told myself, this is going to be quick. But how am i going to find the time and variety of people to answer them? Argh... -.-

♥ Single hood
It is a queer thing to be single, people around start to fret for you.
As i take my time to pick, concentrating on building up my life, and future career, setting up goals, people around me start to break into cold sweat when i did not mention any particular guy i should be taking a fancy to. Picking, analyzing, and persuading me to turn my head to have a look at a random guy, my dear friend today exerted herself in effort to change my single status. Chatting excitedly about about her plans to get married at the age of 22, her wish to stop at poly education(she says that if world ends,a cert will have no use), and, she even went a step further and had thought of names for her unborn children surprisingly efficiently. This continued throughout my lunch break after i invited her to sit with us for lunch. After the tedious meal, my thoughtful dear friend opened the facebook page of hers, and flashed photographs of topless guys at me, asking me to pick one i like best. Providing suggestions one after another, and trying to decipher the reason for me being single, my dear friend enjoyed herself thoroughly, giving me advice that she is sure to get me out of single hood.
Thank you very much my dear.
But ever thought of life without putting in all the time you have in guys and be dependent on them?

Today is Wednesday! Mid-week already. Wednesdays should be one of the most important days of the week. Whatever work that i am rushing out for the end of the week, the overdue work of past weeks, the little things that stop running at mid-week, have to be done today.
I must have been neglecting the most important Wednesday for too long.
The little whiteboard fixed on the wall in my room is crammed full of things that i have written to remind myself to do. Now, i should stop posting and get on with the pile...

A family oriented day it is, as i've mentioned in my previous post. Today we had an early celebration of mother's day for my granny.(Grandparents mother's and father's day have always been family events) We went to the bukit batok civil servant club, where we ate in Hilltop Garden restaurant. The food is rather good, and the service is good too. Sitting in there, it seem that i am back to my graduations night of my secondary school which is held at the same place, just that the ballroom is much emptier today. I miss my secondary school days!!! Life isn't so fun in poly, though the system is much more flexible than in secondary school.
Monday again tomorrow, i think what causes Monday blues is realising just how bloody fast the days are passing and my tests are looming... AGAIN -.-

This weekend is totally a family oriented one. Today the whole family went to watch 2 shows, back-to-back, in the omni theaters. The omni theaters isn't a very well known place, and the seats are normally only half-filled. It is located at the jurong town area which isn't a popular spot either.(there are lots of new malls sprouting up recently though, i think the place will be packed soon) The omni theaters only screen documentaries, which may sound boring but it's absolutely fabulous!! It's not the usual type of documentaries that one can watch on tv, but it is more specific, concentrating on the adventures on one particular team. On top of that, the screen of the theater is round, covering about 80% of the roof, so it gives you a 3D effect, even seem 4D at times even there isn't. (you may get dizziness though)
The 2 shows that we watched today is the Amazing Caves and Arabia. We can't get enough of the Amazing Caves! The cavers, went from harsh desert conditions to freezing temperatures in frozen waterfalls to tropical islands, diving into the water in search of new caves, where they find new samples and organisms to advance medicine. The 40 minutes show was absolutely thrilling and makes you hold your breathe as the cavers delve deep into caves that no one explored before.
The unfortunate thing is, we can't say the same for the second show we watched. Though the duration of the show is the same, the information we get to know is far less in Arabia. A country so full of history and culture turns into a confusing show of a bad mix of cartoon, history re-enactments, and current films. The narrator sounds bored himself.
Regardless, it is great to take some time off today to enjoy some time in the theaters, and im going to my grandpa house in an hour's time! Bye!!
*I do note own the pictures, all rights belong to the Omni theaters

I am exhausted. Which is kind of weird since i didn't sleep too late last night. My very interesting timetable have left me with a 3 hours break once again. A grueling process, which continues with a 3 hours lecture on project event logistics. Seriously, even my lecturer isn't taking it very well. -.-
