Went to Chiso Zanmai for lunch buffet yesterday!!! We paid about $19 per person. It may sound cheap, but we're not keen to go back there again. Firstly, we all thought that there will be sashimi for the buffet, but it turned out that sashimi will only be served for dinner. Which means you will not be able to find even a salmon sushi. Secondly, the you have to pay extra for the drinks. Thirdly, the variety is really limited, there are lots of different types of egg plants, vegetable tempura and tofu, just that we didn't expect it to be so 'vegetarian'. The meat selection is just too depressing. On top of that, they refill the food really slowly. There are still some good points though, the ambiance is really good. The restaurant have lots of natural sunlight streaming in from the various full length windows, making the place bright and cheery. The seating are comfortable with soft interior furnishings. Used plates are cleared fast, always cleared before you are back to the table with another plate of food. Overall, it's a cosy spot, but just don't expect too much for the food.
